The Silkworm and the Spider A spider was working slowly and diligently on her web, while a silkworm was speeding through her shroud. The silkworm was arrogant about her quantity of work, and bragged to the spider. But the spider continued her methodical approach; she knew she was building something that would last. This fable is about quality vs. quantity. We still want to bring the small-side winemaking that we know to this project. We want to take care and build some- thing that will grow, instead of doing everything the quickest way. It might take more time or money, but it meets our standard of detail, even while it scales.
