Originating from the esteemed highlands of Atotonilco El Alto, Purasangre Tequila Reposado is the artistic creation of native highlander and renowned Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca. Enrique adopts an exclusive dual-distillation process for Purasangre: the robust Atotonilco El Alto agave is initially distilled in stainless steel alembic pot stills and is subsequently refined in copper pots. Theadditive-free tequila is not just affluent in taste but also impeccably balanced, encapsulating the signature agave flavor distinctive to the 5,200 elevation of Atotonilco. Staying true to the tradition of Casa Xalixco, this Reposado expression is matured in superior French oak barrels, adding a layer of depth and sophistication to its profile.
