Emanating from the Central Valleys of Oaxacaa veritable epicenter of agave varietythis blend marries the best of Espadn and Tobal agaves. Masterfully crafted by third-generation agave farmer Maestro Javier Mateo and his family in Santiago Matatln, this mezcal is a tribute to tradition and terroir.
The agaves are pit-roasted with black oak and tahona ground before wild fermentation, aided by pulque and water sourced from the ancestral Zapotec town of Mitla. This meticulous process preserves the spirit’s rich mineral and fruity nuances.
