Andover Estate Arroyo Seco Chardonnay

Description

Andover wines are pure expressions of their varieties and the singular terroir of our estate vineyards. Our Chardonnay is bright, focused and elegant with aromas of vanilla, orange blossom, and yellow delicious apple. Lush and ripe flavors of white peach, Asian pear, vanilla and citrus finish with a hint of creamy, honeyed oak. The grapes for our Chardonnay are grown on estate vineyards in the cool, rocky Arroyo Seco AVA of Monterey County, sheltered in the late afternoon shadows of the Santa Lucia Mountains. It is a remarkable site that consistently yields a graceful and refined Chardonnay.

Tasting Notes

Our Chardonnay is bright, focused and elegant with aromas of green apple, starfruit and hints of vanilla and toasty oak. Medium-bodied and balanced, the palate is lush with ripe flavors of white peach and crisp citrus, ending with a rich lingering finish of creamy, sweet oak.
