Albert Michler Distillery is one of the oldest distilleries in the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, producing high-quality spirits and liqueurs. The company was founded in 1863 in Silesia, Czech Republic, and has since established itself as one of the leading producers of fine spirits in Europe. Only the best rums from Jamaica, Barbardos, Trinidad & Tobago and the Dominican Republic are sourced.
The Oloroso Double Cask Edition is a Caribbean rum that matures in ex-bourbon barrels as well as in American ex-Oloroso sherry barrels for 12-16 months.
The maturation of the rum, which is up to 21 years old, takes place according to the solera method; the average age is 16 years.
