Breaking Bread’s team has crafted a captivating blend of grapes, resulting in a skin-contact “orange” wine that achieves a multi-layered complexity and mouthwatering appeal. This unique blend comprises equal parts Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc alongside the dominant Muscat Blanc. The inclusion of Chardonnay lends weight and intricacy to the wine’s texture, while Sauvignon Blanc contributes acidity and elevated aromatic qualities.

The winemaking process begins with destemming all grapes into the fermenter bin without the addition of sulfur, allowing native yeast to naturally develop over approximately five days. Subsequently, the wine undergoes an additional five days of fermentation on the skins, totaling 10 days of skin contact. This extended skin contact period enhances the wine’s balance of phenolics, resulting in a more harmonious overall profile.
