Banhez Destilado de Pia is a vibrant, artisanal spirit crafted entirely from ripe pineapples harvested in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca. Produced by the Banhez cooperative, this unique eau-de-vie is fermented for five days and distilled once in a traditional copper refrescadora still over an open flame. The result is a bright, juicy expression bursting with natural pineapple flavorremarkably sweet despite containing no added sugars or flavorings. It finishes dry, with a tropical fruit note and a subtle hint of warmth. Bottled at 45% ABV, it’s perfect for sipping neat or adding a tropical twist to cocktails.
