The Bladnoch distillery, which was founded in 1817, underwent several changes of ownership over the course of its history before returning to family ownership. Today, it is the southernmost active distillery in Scotland, located in the far south of the Lowlands. Although Bladnoch is one of the smaller distilleries, it impresses with an exceptional variety of high-quality whiskies.
