Brimstone Hills cannons protected the beautiful island of St. Kitts and her valuable sugar cane for hundreds of years. Many a ship met her demise off of this Caribbean coastline, including a British troopship during the Battle of Frigate Bay in 1782. Brinley Gold Shipwreck Rum in blended to match the old rums spiked with exotic spices and flavors that drifted ashore from distant lands. Hand-crafted on the beautiful, yet treacherous island of St. Kitts, Brinleys mission is simple- to make the best tasting flavored rum in the world. Using a molasses base, each rum is blended with only the finest natural ingredients. Their award-winning, premium flavored rums include Vanilla, Coffee, Mango, and Coconut, and the small batch Brinley Gold Shipwreck Spiced. The Brinley family has a history on St. Kitts that dates back to 1984. In 2004, Bob and, his son, Zach began hand-crafting their Brinley Gold Vanilla Rum and opened a small Rum Shoppe on the cruise port. Through the years theyve added Coffee, Mango, and Coconut Rum, and most recently Shipwreck Spiced. As Spiced Rum sales surged, quickly becoming the brand-leader, Brinley Gold rebranded their flavored rums in May 2012 to include the Shipwreck name.
