Description
This powerful yet nuanced Brunello is a prime example of Capannas traditional and alluring house style, with its notes of dried flowers, crushed black cherries, clove, and spice. Grapes are harvested from the winerys oldest vineyards near the coveted Montosoli hill before maceration and fermentation in Slavonian oak vats of about a month at controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for about three years followed by aging in bottle for an additional six months; the wine is filtered but not fined. This is ethereal Brunello that rewards aging like no other.
