Represented by the NOM 1123, this premium tequila uses 100% Tequilana Weber agave, a variety celebrated for its robust flavors and adaptability to the unique conditions of the region.

The agave hearts, after being harvested, are roasted to perfection in Stone/Brick Ovens, slowly releasing their sugars and imparting a deep, earthy aroma. Unlike many traditional tequilas, the Plata 48 uses a Roller Mill for extraction, efficiently harnessing the sweet nectar from the cooked agave. Sourced from a deep well, the water used adds a distinct mineral profile, lending depth and complexity to the final product. The tequila is then fermented in stainless steel tanks, ensuring purity, and distilled twice in a stainless pot with a copper coil, further refining its profile and ensuring a clean, smooth finish.

Unaged and distilled at or near its proof of 48% ABV (96-proof), Cascahuin Tequila Plata 48 boasts an uncompromising potency that is free from additives.
