Ultis is a blend of entirely malt whiskies, and the whisky is so named as the Chivas Brothers believe it to be the Ultimate Whisky. Ultis is centred around the Home of the Chivas Brothers, Strathisla. Accompanying this fine old malt are four others all from the Speyside region Allt aBhainne, Braevel, Longmorn and Tormore. The five different malts are intended to reflect the five generations of the Chivas family. The whisky is tremendous, with exceptional balance and extraordinary flavour. A testament to the art of blending. The whisky is replete with Speyside-typical notes of honey, soft fruit, vanilla and oak. A beautiful dram.
