Clonakilty Port Cask – Irish Whiskey

Description

The first member of the Clonakilty Cask Series.

They have used a premiumIrish malt and 9 year old Irish grain.

It was then gently cut andfinished in Port Casks from The Douro Valley at our Atlantic Oceanwarehouse.

NOSE

Fresh, sweet apples, ripe peaches and vanilla, creamywith a hint of wood character in the background.

PALATE

Very fruity with cherries, raisins and soft spices,some chilli and cardamom.

FINISH

Middle long with soft spice and a hint of chocolate.
