Stately and precise with enticing aromas of green apples, lemon blossoms and wild flowers on the nose, while succulent fruit emerges harmoniously in the mouth with intensity and stony complexity. The finish is clean and energetic with well balanced lifted acidity. A splurge? Yes, but a proper one at that!
Winemaker Description
Aromas of ripe citrus fruit, spices and honeycomb. Pungent aromas of petrol, resin, rosemary oil and citrus precede the juicy, succulent and fleshy medium weight flavors that possess fine mid-palate volume before terminating in a balanced and delicious finale.
This relatively forward effort isn’t refined though it stops short of being rustic.
