Description
This bitter apritif liqueur follows the 1860s “Italian Bitter of Turin” recipe, originally made in Turin as Torino Gran Classico. Purchased by Swiss distillery E. Luginbhl in 1925, its been locally produced ever since. Gran Classico, made from a maceration of 25 aromatic herbs and roots like wormwood and gentian, features a natural golden-amber color. It’s enjoyed on ice, with seltzer, or as a versatile modifier in cocktails, offering a complex, non-red alternative to traditional bitters like those used in the Negroni.
