Description

Hacienda de Bauelos Tequilana is crafted in the state of Zacatecas, using the Blue Weber plant (Agave tequilana). With a rich history of agave distillation, Zacatecas imparts its unique minerality traits to this mezcal, setting it apart from other spirits made using the Blue Weber agave.

The agave plants are cooked for 24 hours in a stainless steel autoclave and then crushed using a roller mill. What follows is a natural fermentation process, where wild yeasts and natural spring water are used without any additives or accelerators. This process yields a distinct and authentic flavor profile.

Finally, the mezcal is double distilled in an alembic still to bring out its full depth of flavor. The resulting spirit is a perfect balance of the Blue Weber agave’s characteristics and Zacatecas’ terroir.
