Hancock’s Single Barrel President’s Reserve Bourbon is a single barrel release from Sazerac, distilled at the esteemed Buffalo Trace distillery, and is one of the Sazerac company’s highest rye mashbills yet. Thisbourbon pays tribute to Hancock Lee, who was a pioneer of shipping tobacco, hemp, and whiskey on the Kentucky River. The nose of this whiskey reveals light oak and hay, with hints of vanilla and peach. The palate carries oak tannins and black pepper, tempered by vanilla and cinnamon sweetness.
