In the picturesque countryside of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Goelles is the third generation to run the traditional family fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Federal College for Wine and Fruit Growing in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents’ harvest of apples, pears, plums and peaches. His entry into the distillation of fine brandies began in 1979, followed by the founding of his manufactory for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the range includes around twenty fine brandies and just as many types of vinegar, which regularly receive recognition.

The Hands on Gin Small Batch is produced using just five essentials in double-distilled white rum. The juniper gives this gin the pleasant spiciness that makes up the basic structure of a fine gin. In addition, the black currant together with the white rum ensures a pleasantly full mouthfeel and, like the juniper, contributes to a fine earthy-herbal note.
