Legendario Domingo Espadn 750ML –Mezcal from San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, produced by Familia Velasco.
Made with matured (8-9 years) Maguey Espadn (Agave Angustifolia) grown at 900 meters above sea level. Ground using a Tahona mill and horse-drawn stone. Cooked in rustic, underground conical ovens fueled with sustainably gathered Tepehuaje and sabino wood. Fermented naturally in open pine vats using indigenous yeast for ten days, with fresh spring water added. Double distilled in copper pot stills.
Tasting Notes
A fresh and citrusy flavor with a hint of minerality and a mild smokiness, followed by ripe Oaxacan fruit notes.
