Leyda Winery was the first winery to set foot and plant vineyards in Leyda Valley and the creators of the, now recognized, Leyda D.O. Our Winery is focused on producing fresh, mineral and elegant wines with character and identity, which reect the cool marine inuence of the Chilean coastline, as well as the unique characteristics of Leyda Valley terroir and microterroirs. We conduct a boutique and detailed work in the vineyards and the cellar: hand-picking, low yields per plant, small batches, and micro-vinication that reect the uniqueness of each vineyard.
Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Pale yellow with green highlights. Nose: Expressive, denoting an origin in a cold marine climate, with some saline notes. It has typical Leyda herbaceous reminiscences of lemon verbena, green chili, white pepper and citrus fruits such as lime and grapefruit. Palate: Of great depth and at the same time broad, with a creamy texture on the middle palate. It translates its granite soils by a vibrance on the palate and the traces of calcium carbonate in the grip on the palate. Its final note is a juicy and pungent acidity
