Description
The seventh in the series, the 2021 Spring Edition of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-In-Bond is the youngest age statement in the series, and proves that age isn’t everything when it comes to quality. With a sweet, yet delightfully spicy palate, this release uses Old Fitzgerald’s traditional wheated mashbill distilled in the spring of 2013. The ornate decanter-style bottles with bottled-in-bond tax stamps have become a distinctive mainstay of the distiller despite their recent release. With beautiful glasswork and deliciously aged expressions, this bottled-in-bond legacy is always well-regarded by bourbon drinkers of all types. The palate is rich with sweet butterscotch before settling in with just a hint of brown sugar while the finish pushes chocolate and caramel notes in a round and sumptuous sip.
