Description
The Post Scriptum is the second wine from Chryseia and it was conceived of as a wine that would be an equal to Chryseia but a little lighter, fresher, and better able to be drunk younger. Aromatically alive with red fruits and fresh flowers, this wine shows remarkable concentration and depth on the palate. Rich and full black cherry and plum notes are supplemented by hints of cracked pepper and eucalyptus and the finish is long and smooth with firm but fine-grained tannins. What do you get when you combine the winemaking talents of one of Portugals finest winemaking houses (Symington) with the legendary former owner of Bordeauxs Cos dEstournel (Bruno Prats)? You get Chryseia, a wine that almost overnight became synonymous with greatness from the Douro.
