It’s crafted from single-estate Jamaican molasses, distilled at Worthy Park Estate in St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica, under the expertise of Gordon Clarke & Co. Afterward, it’s bottled in Bardstown, Kentucky, by Proof and Wood. Its flavor profile includes hints of pineapple skin, mild acidity, slightly underripe banana, olive brine, saltiness, overripe mango, damp earth, and the refreshing scent of petrichor.

With a bold 50% ABV, The Funk embodies the traditional high-ester style of rum from the WP Estate, reminiscent of the robust pot-still rums once cherished by the British Royal Navy. It features prominent tropical fruit notes and the renowned “hogo” (derived from “haute gout”), which has made Jamaican spirits famous.
