Enticing aromas of star anise, forest floor, and black licorice together with perfumed violets and dark ripe raspberry. Flavors of juicy blackberry and sweet cinnamon and nutmeg evolve to subtle roasted coffee with a sweet vanilla finish.
Under the direction of veteran winemaker Bob Lindquist, Qupe was one of the first to advocate American-made Syrah and other Rhone varietals such as Grenache, Roussanne, and Marsanne. Bob has been a leader in the movement producing world class editions since the early 1980s and continues his quest with the same zeal today
