The Signatory Vintage Knockando 16 Years Old 2008 Cask Strength #102 is a rare and characterful single cask bottling from the renowned Cask Strength Collection by Signatory Vintage, one of Scotland’s most respected independent bottlers. This special single malt comes from the traditional Knockando Distillery in Speyside, which is known for elegant, finely structured whiskies with a fruity, malty character.
The bottling was distilled in 2008 and matured for a full 16 years in a 1st fill Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry hogshead, cask number #102. The PX cask provides a particularly sweet, rich aroma with intense notes of dried fruit, caramel and dark spice.
