The Somerston portfolio offers three different expressions: Highflyer Wines are made from high-quality purchased California fruit; Priest Ranch is a blend of wines from selected vineyard blocks; and in good vintages, Somerston will release a single vineyard, limited production wine. Estate fruit that is not used for Somerston is sold to some of Napa Valley?s most renowned winemakers ? David Ramey, Heidi Barrett, and David Phinny ? and well-respected wineries like Biale, Caymus, Duckhorn, Orin Swift, Pahlmeyer and Viader.
