The Deveron is a premium single malt whisky produced at the renowned MacDuff Distillery in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The distillery was founded in either 1960 or 1962 and draws the water required for whisky production from the Gelly Spring, which contributes to the exceptional purity and quality of the final product. With an impressive annual production capacity of 2.8 million liters, MacDuff operates two wash stills and three spirit stills to ensure the high standards of whisky production.

Although MacDuff Distillery is geographically located in the Highlands, it is often associated with the Speyside region as it combines stylistic elements of both regions. This classification underlines the versatility and unique character of the whisky. Named after the River Deveron, which flows in the immediate vicinity of the distillery, this fine drop matures for 12 years in carefully selected oak casks.
